Tomatoes, Tomatoes Everywhere!

You can can them or, like us, we just clean them and toss them into the freezer in plastic bags. We then have tomatoes all year for sauce, soups, stews, whatever. READ MORE...

A new food documentary is out that you may want to see. It describes how, in 1981, a Washington food-lobbyist allegedly met with Louise Light and said " I have $60,000 in this attache case and I want to give it to you if you will leave the word cancer out of any mention in the Red Cross course."
Working with Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn of the Cleveland Clinic, director of one of the longest-running studies in the peer-reviewed scientific literature showing that a plant-based diet can reverse even late stage heart disease, this documentary proposes the actions of iindustry, government and even the medical establishment contribute to sky-high rates of heart disease, cancer and other preventable diseases. We need to not only take care of our kids, we need to take care of ourselves. Your kids need you to be there for them... and be in tip-top shape.
Take a look. See what you think.
